Some time around 12:45 pm Central Time on the sixth of June, 1996, I smoked my last cigarette.
I have made it through a decade! Whoo!
(Happy birthday, Jo-Ell, wherever you are!)

Good Job! I smoked for ten years and quits for 3 and a half. I smoked again in March of 2004...I still smoke now. I wish I could find your fortitude. Blessings!
Who is Jo-Ell?

Jo-Ell was a prop artisan at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival for a couple of seasons, and her birthday was June 6. I always remember that the day I quit smoking also happened to be her birthday.
